1st Grade

Brenden started first grade on August 20th. He has a wonderful teacher and is adjusting nicely to full day school. There are so many new things that he can't always remember everything he did at school. Here are a few things that really made an impression.
*The carrot dispencer. Apperently they have a carrot dispencer in the cafateria. He push a button and three carrots come out and you put them on your plate. He loves it and gets carrots everyday. I think they should make one for all vegtables. Then moms would buy them like crazy just so their kids would think veggies are cool.
*The ketchup pump. Anyone who has ever eaten in a school lunch room know about the ketchup pump. However for a first grader this is right up there with the carrot dispencer. How cool is it that he can pump his own ketchup? Apperently it's awesome!
* The BIG playground. No explanation needed. We all know the BIG playground is way better then the little Kindergarten playground.
* The prize jar. It sounds like the usual prize jar however who ever came up with the original idea has thanks from mother's all over the planet.

How cute! :) I mean who wouldn't love a carrot dispenser?

Were so jealous! We don't get a carrot dispenser at our school.

Brenden, it is so cool that you are in the first grade. Grandma Meyer starts her first day tomorrow and can't wait to see her new students, too bad they won't all be as good looking as you. Love you
