We have been talking about making a trip to Colorado for years. Finally we were able to arrange for Steven to take a week off and go. Our first stop was a night at Aaryn and Garn's for some amazing food and a lesson on gardening. Then it was off to the Snow Reunion in Jensen, where Steven won a medal for his team winning the kickball. There were a lot of other competitions. We participated in most of them and had a GREAT time seeing everyone who was there.
Sunday we drove to Vernal for the fireworks. Aaryn made some of her famous icecream and Mom and Elizabeth each made a batch too. So in the end we had 4 kinds of icecream. It was very very yummy.
The fireworks were fun and Regan loved them so much she annouced, "This is the best night ever!"
Mckay was not as impressed with the fireworks and begged to go back to doing the sparklers.
