Summer Fun

We started off June with our first ever Sister's (and Mom) Weekend! It was Kimberly's Baby shower in Milford and we were all able to come except my sister in law who is currently in Florida. It was a crazy weekend with our plans constantly changing. But WHAT FUN we had!

Regan decided she wanted to learn to sew. So she picked a skirt pattern, her material and we got right to it. She did so great! I was very impressed with her patience (and mine).

Here is the skirt all finished. She even got to wear it to Church on Sunday.

Steven and I decided to celebrate our Anniversary 2 months early. August is such an inconvenient time to get away. So instead we spent last weekend in Midway Utah. We spend the evening with another couple touring the Heber Valley Cheese Farm. It as really neat and they had over 40 flavors of cheese to taste. To be honest after about the first 10 they all started to taste the same but it was lots of fun anyway!

Then we drove to the Wasatch Stake park that was only 5 minutes away and went camping. It's amazing to me how fun camping is when you don't have any kids to worry about. We needed the time away and were grateful that Erica could watch our kids so we could escape.

The very next day was Father's Day. I will tell you all right now I have the best husband and father to my children! Steven is such a great Dad and we tried our best to spoil him. The big item was tickets to a concert this Thursday. Happy Father's Day to all the other Fathers out there!
